Pilgrims' Potpourri

Reflections on our journey with God

About September 18, 2010

We( Karen and Ed) are married and have 4 grown children.  For both of us our faith in Jesus Christ and belief in the good news he preached is foundational to all we are and everything we do.  We affirm, as Jesus affirmed, the goodness and worth of every human being.  We have  profound respect for people of every faith tradition as well as people who do not embrace any religious tradition.  Our faith tradition is Roman Catholic. Ed serves as a deacon for the church. He enjoys running, cooking, growing garlic and savors good food. Karen loves rebounding. She creates quilt art, enjoys bird and people watching and serves as a spiritual director for people of varied faith traditions.

We believe that each person on this planet is on a journey, an interior journey, a journey of the heart.  We also believe that while each person’s path may be different, everyone who seeks will find meaning, wholeness and peace in their lives.  It is with this spirit that we share our journey with you and hope that others will share their journeys with us.   We are all pilgrims.

“We are not human beings having a spiritual experience. We are spiritual beings having a human experience.”

May the Roads Rise Up with you
May the winds be at your Back
May God hold you in the hollow of his hands
And May you reach the pearly gates a half hour before the divil knows you’re dead

    God Bless
    Brendan

    Deacon Ed and Karen,

This is Angela Cave, staff writer at The Evangelist. I’m doing a piece on local blogs and I’d love to chat with you if possible. Are you in Spain now? Do you have access to a phone?
Please let me know. I’d like to speak with you by next week.

    Hello Ed,
Perhaps you will remember Jaime and I if you reach back far enough in time. I just found your website …how wonderful and enriching. It would be nice to get in touch again. Do you have an email address? Glad to hear about you. Lois pino
